Space exploration in Big Learners

Big Learners, our eldest year group in Early Years, have been learning all about space. The children listened to the story 'Whatever Next' which started their space adventure followed by a picnic lunch, made by themselves, and a rocket making activity. 

They explored what materials they might find on a planet including different weights of stones and changes using cornflour to learn about thing that are dry, wet, shiny and soft. 

Lots of fun was had and creativity sparked!
