At Westbury House lunchtime is an important part of the day. All children look forward to lunchtime when they can sit together to enjoy a healthy home-cooked meal prepared fresh onsite. There are meat, halal and vegetarian options available daily with meat-free Monday becoming a set day after its hugely successful trial! Additionally all dietary and religious requirements are catered for.
The menu at Westbury House aims to be representative of the global community and the catering team are delighted when children make suggestions of their favourite foods they would like others to try. Korean food is now a very popular day on the three-week rotation! Parents are also consulted through a termly lunch survey.
In the last survey 100% of parents rated the food ‘Good’ or ‘Excellent’.
