Here at Westbury House our aim is that every child flourishes. Our Year 1 and 2 classes are a supportive and safe environment for children to develop their learning from Reception in a more focused learning space. 

Our fantastic teachers ensure that days spent at Westbury House are filled with plenty of interactive learning opportunities in the classroom and beyond.

In Year 1 and 2 the following academic subjects are taught:

The curriculum is further enhanced through regular trips, workshops and extra curricular clubs.

Termly our Year 1 and 2 pupils visit the nearby woods for their Forest School session. They investigate seasonal changes, search for minibeasts and explore their surroundings.
