Wednesday 13th February
The Year 6 pupils enjoyed a fantastic visit from James - a Travel for London representative - who spoke about public transport and the transition to secondary school.
Many pupils begin using TfL services more frequently as they enter secondary school, and the aim is that the in-school presentation equips them with the knowledge and skills to do this effectively. Year 6 learnt a lot about personal safety and potential dangers, ticketing and journey planning, and respect for people, property and the environment. The presentation was thoroughly engaging and certainly went a long way toward further developing confidence and responsibility amongst our pupils.
